What "anti-American" sentiments? I have nothing against Americans. I am no more anti-American than I am anti-Vietnamese, anti-Colombian, anti-Portuguese or anti-Ethiopian. I just hope someday we can get rid of these silly "nations" and come together as a single species.
I felt tremendously sad to hear you say you'd readily burn an American flag
It's just a piece of cloth...a piece of cloth which represents an unjust social system and fosters nationalism. A better idea might be to pile up all the flags of the world's nations and burn them in one big pile. In providing heat they would finally serve a useful purpose.
or celebrate if the president were assasinated. Do you really mean that about an assassination?
I certainly do. There are some people who simply don't deserve to live, and that includes murderous tyrants.
A nation which I'm very proud to live in, stupid as you may feel that sentiment is.
Why are you proud to live in this country? Would you be ashamed to live in another country? Or is your choice entirely arbitrary, in that you are only proud to live here because you happen to live here?

I only take pride in things that I have actually achieved through my own efforts. I don't believe in white pride, or American pride, or heterosexual pride, or male pride, or right-handedness pride, or attached-earlobe pride. I had nothing to do with the conditions of my birth, or the territorial division of land into different nation-states, or the formation of the political system that rules over me, so I find it absurd to be proud of my nation. I am only American because the natives who originally lived here could not defend themselves against an invasion of British settlers, and I happen to live a couple miles south of a line, drawn up by colonial rulers several centuries ago, that used to divide some settlers who decided to found an independent republic in the 1770s from some other settlers who wanted to remain a British colony for another 90 years. Honestly, why should that matter to me?

Anti American I consider myself a lot of things and I am often accused of being many more, it's all good since I consider myself most of all to be thick skinned and I really don't give a damn what others think of me but I am a cat and therefore curious. 3 Questions : What is anti-American ? If I dislike American politics does that make me AA* even though I love certain things about and from America (Arlen Ness Harleys, Alice Cooper) ? Do you believe me to be AA*? Rating: 5
