So much for freedom of speech.
Yes, that IS FREEDOM OF SPEECH, and he has every right to say it. Even if it's wrong, even if it makes you uncomfortably. even if it offends you. It is one of the "rights" every one in America has, even non-citizens.

It is one of many many principles, that has made the United States of America the envy of the world.

Are you AA ? Who cares ?

Nonsense, some ones opinion "wavering" or not as nothing to do with it. If you don't agree either response or shut up, buy don't try to justify (because there is none) saying he don't have the RIGHT to express his opinion, just like you.

    3) I oppose the concept of nationality and regard humanity as a single human race, fundamentally undivided by the artificial lines that states have drawn on the map.

I don't feel there should be a thing called the United States of America, but that doesn't mean I oppose the 300 million inhabitants of this artificial land division, or the land itself; just the tiny elite in charge who tell everybody else what to do. I'd celebrate if the president were assassinated, I'd burn an American flag in a second, and I'd love to see the time when the United States is nothing more than an interesting chapter in history books, but the minute you attack the innocent Americans themselves (or members of any nationality for that matter) you become my enemy.

Patriotism is stupid. Being proud of having been born in America makes just as much sense as being proud of having been born white.
Oneironaut, I never fail to be impressed by your uncannily strong verbal ability, particularly for one so young. But I confess that I'm often struck lately, too, by your misanthropic streak. Perhaps this is simply your anarchistic front, the intentional impetuous young provocateur. Sometimes I see so much dislike for everything you comment on, however, that I worry about your own happiness with yourself. I hope that with continued maturity and education and travel (and I realize you're in college and also that you've done some traveling) you will mellow a bit and not find quite so much to denounce.

I'm guessing, based on what you said above, then, that you're quite comfortable with your anti-American sentiments even if you can tolerate the individual population. I felt tremendously sad to hear you say you'd readily burn an American flag or celebrate if the president were assasinated. Do you really mean that about an assassination? I should hope you wouldn't wish a violent, unnecessary death on anyone, even a political figure you disagreed with. I certainly don't. I don't always agree with him or his administration, but I wouldn't wish such violence on anyone, and certainly not on my nation's leader or on my nation itself. A nation which I'm very proud to live in, stupid as you may feel that sentiment is.

Bong, a quick word to you. On your more even, less in-your-face days, even you concede that you don't like or support everything about our country and its current leaders. I've heard you say as much on several occasions. You do know people can be ambivalent about politics and leaders and still believe strongly in their country. You may not admit that right here, but I know you well enough to know you do!

I don't like how everything about the government is run, but then everyone has their own opinion to how things ought to be done. We got our freedom, and who cares if we # 1, wtf's that matter, buck the fck up. Atleast we ain't puppets in china's eyes, like the rest of the fcking world. Damn, scared mofo's. We out their fighting a nvr ending war, to save your pussy asses, cause your governments to chicken, to grow some balls of their own.

If I dislike American politics does that make me AA* even though I love certain things about and from America (Arlen Ness Harleys, Alice Cooper) ?
Do you believe me to be AA*?

Is this whole thread and poll supposed to revolve around the perception of psychocat's image and opinions, just the question of Anti-Americanism in general, or both? This whole thing strikes me as rather narcissistic. What the fuck does liking "Alice Cooper" have to do with anything in American politics?

P.S. I did not participate in the "poll".

I wouldn't call myself anti-american but there's a lot of bullshit in this country right now that a lot of people seem to be sick of. mostly the lies, deceit, unethical issues, and other things that are just nauseating. but i guess politics have always been like this.

If you read the original post you will see that the first question is WHAT IS ANTI AMERICAN ?

From what you've written I garner that you believe that if I disagree with the goverment that makes me AA ??
However since I don't hate all things American or even hate Americans how does that make me anti American ?

Surely a broad statement like "You're Anti American" should cover all things American and not just because someone doesn't like certain things ?

Really it's about the (IMO) idiots who think that by calling someone AA that it means their opinion isn't valid, it's kinda like the way some people use the word "liberal". ??

As for what people think of me , I really think I should give an explanation of my sig : DILLIGAF ! = Do I Look Like I Give A Fuck ?
