Come on man, Hitler was a political genius who took advantage of his country's desperation and made all the right moves to get into the position that allowed him to wipe out whomever he wanted. There were so many contributing factors that resulted in the holocaust. If your using that kind of logic, most political leaders are like Hitler in their own ways.

And if my kids came home saying they learned about turning into pigs and apes in school, i'd seriously doubt our educational system, as i'm sure would most sane people in the country.

Your estimate of the number of muslims in the US is off by something like a factor of ten. Which perhaps explains why your fear level is so out of touch with reality. It is not anti-american to oppose the policies of the bush government, in fact it is anti-american to support them. The policies place america a greater risk, therefore I can only assume you hate america. Why else would you be in favor of actions which are not in the interests of the US?
