PH Water Runoff Question
I measured the Runnoff Of a few of my plants this morrning. And it was I'd say by the clour chart between 5 and 6 more towards the 5 Though. My soil is netural Ph of 7 (promix Bx with added perlite)
When I was learning about Ph and its importance, I rember that you wanted your runoff to be about netural as well. I use Bioanticare Pro purgrow and use it iun small amounts every watering. (they ahve been looking sweet)
Is this the wrong Ph for my Runoff? When I repot my plants should I add Lime to make my sSoil above 7 say 8Ph so my runoff will be around 6.5 - 7?
Or should I just flush every so often? or add somthing else from my gorw shop?
Any help is greatly appreciatedkdspecial Reviewed by kdspecial on . PH Water Runoff Question I measured the Runnoff Of a few of my plants this morrning. PH Water Runoff Question
Sorry... to post more
I also had another thought. Is adding Perlite to My Netural ProMix BX. Making it more acidic? Could the added Perlite mess up the netural Ph of ProMix?
Anyhelp with anything is greatly appreciated.
thanks Kindly

PH Water Runoff Question
Adding the perlite should not change the PH. Many people do add lime to help stabilize the ph in pro mix. In my Black Gold soil run off it is usually about 5.8 5.9 or so, but even in soil I keep my PH at about 6.2 and the plants seem to love it.
Have you listened to any of Zandors grow reports? They really get into PH needs and I have been able to soke up allot.

PH Water Runoff Question
Cool.. thanks for the Info on Your grow. Yes I have seen Zandorsa Mp3 Podcasts. I have yet to listen to one though looks like I will be putting that on My Ipod If its downloadable.
thanks for all the Help Blue Bear.. I willbe repotting soon so I think I will try adding a touch of Lime to the ProMix. Just a touch as its already Ph balanced.
Thanks again
