I agree with Green Love, it's infatuation not true love. Not trying to be mean or anything, just realistic. Love is something that is shared between two people, a bond that is built up over time. Like Dannyman I was in the same boat before and once you've been there you know the difference.

First thing to determine is why do you say you have no chance? Is it because she only sees you as a friend or, even worse, friend of a friend? If so, nothing else matters. Move on, you'll be better in the long run. If, however, she actually has romantic feelings towards you, find a way to work it out. Be creative and find a way that will cause the least amount of friction in your circle of friends. Either way, I can guarantee that a year or so from now, if your not with her, you'll have forgotten about her.

This is a very confusing situation but I need to get it off my chest and I really dont have anyone I can talk to about this particular problem... My brothers friend has been going out with this girl from about and hour and a half away, she has been staying with him and his family.
