QUESTION FOR GURUS!!!???

My friend just bought a house and wants to know what the Bar Minimum he would need to grow 5-6 pounds a month for selling. and how much it would cost.

also he wants to do Hydro and i recommend DWC in 5 gal. buckets. unless there is a cheaper way which also would be cool to know.

hey there brother... im not to sure .. but god damn if what you say is true then your friend is a gready git lol no offence.. but that kind of yield would be worth thousands.. i think your friend should be very wise .. coz the only growers i hear bout getting busted is the growers that sell big.. anyway good luck to your friend:thumbsup:

Let me get this right your friend has no growing experince and would like to go big time? He has already broken rule one to growing TELL NO ONE. Not sure if you have ever heard this but "you can never under estimate the predictablity of stupidity". Meaning your friend still has some tough lessons to learn. If he has told you he has told others. Maybe he'll do just fine. Maybe not. Well tell him to try about 15 1000 watters. But what do I know?

First off, you're not gonna be able to milk 5-6 dry or undried pounds indoors unless you live in amsterdam. Also, a drip system would be the cheapest, to grow that many plants. If you want mass bud try a scrog with afghan or something, good growers can get 2 ounces or more off of 1 sqft of screen, for my first scrog I gor like .5 ouces per sqft. With afghans and a scrog you'ld prolly want 12'12' screen for that much bud but it looks too hard for a beginner.

well i never took in the fact he would be growing "qualtity bud" vs commercial swag weed.. so that takes about half the buisness away. Also i never considerd 5-6 pounds a month big.

i personly when i did slang weed sould a quarter pound ever other day. but that only lasted a year. (not due to cop reasons) so i figure maybe 2-3 pounds a month with. as for the, "TELL NO ONE" im the only one he knows that knows how to grow.also he has no access to internet.So im his Key to growing.

i grow for personal so that slike an OZ a month if that. so im not custom to 2-3 or 5-6 pounds!

were also thinkg of using T5 Flouro Tubs. I know they an't the best but Budget wise they work.

i grew with t5 and t8 tubes when i started of and it will be real difficult to get 2/3 poundfs from florecent tubes youy would need loads of tubes i had 8x58 watt and the max i could grow well under them was8 plants so you would be better of with 2000 watt or 125 watt cfl if tyou are wanna go flurecent but hps will get you to that yeild a lot quicker than fluresent .be safe the postman.

You are gonna need at least $10k just to set up. I am not kidding dude its real expensive to get started big. Best to work up to it over a yr or 2. You must recreate mother nature inside. That is NOT cheap. Then the electric bill come at you. 500 to 1000 a month.

The best advice I can give you is to spend every waking minute reading and planning and reading and reading. You need to read evrything availabe and then digest it.

You can make big bucks in this business BUT you WILL work more hours at this then ANY job. After a few years it getts easy but trust me you have a long road before you. Choose wisely Grasshopper.

FORGET T5s It will NEVER work! You would need so many of them . Read and learn. I know thats not what you want to hear but you will need 10 1000watters just for bloom!

Large grows take HUGE balls! and you better be a big time gambler cause you are gambling with your life!
