female gone male

i have a small group of plants that i started indoors to sex plants, they have now been outdoors all summer and started flowering a couple of weeks ago. one of the plants has hermied, several small branches have male flowers growing beneath the female flowers, i cut the offensive male flowers from plant, should i remove this plant completely, it does have some nice buds on it or should I continue to let it grow possibly compromising the rest of my females???

why dont you put it back indoors... just keep on cuting off the male flowers.. ive never tried it but it might work... just be very careful that you get all of the sacks pollen spreads like a bitch.. anyways have fun and good luck with your grow

Remove the male(s) if you are in doubt, they can wreck your crop. I had a similar event a few months ago and the few males fucked the entire almost 40 plant.. It all had to be destroyed. I tried picking the pollen sacks off but I think they got too developed and some of them burst as i touched them.

If you want sinsemilla then yes, pollinated females are not what you want. But hey, don't knock seeded females. They produce very good bud, just that you're going to let much less of it compared to an unseeded girl. Why would anyone want to 'destroy' girls that have been pollinated ?

yes , sensi is my goal,isn't it every growers- I have been told that a female plant that produces male flowers will produce seeds that grow only females,is this right- i will daily look for male flowers and clip to keep any further pollinating of my girls, any info if these seeds from my hermie will be a particular sex would be appreciated

If you ever see all-female seeds advertised by seed banks you have the right to know weather or not these seeds come from female plants that were stressed into producing male flowers. In general, growers try to avoid hermie plants because they spoil sinsemilla crops and breeding projects. [He further says] Abnormal bud growth is a side effect of the hermaphrodite conditionâ?¦Also, the quantity of female bud produced is decreased because of pollination.â?�

well least you dont have to worry bout the males.....100% you get some bud, just not the best type of bud
