    Scrog Q

Okay, so I've read and re-read the copious amounts of grow logs and faq's but there's somethings about scrog I'm unclear on:

Do you train in veg or flower?

Do you allow the main stem to go right thru, or train horizontally??

And do you have to veg longer than four weeks (from seed)?

In a few weeks I have to decide just how I want to flower, I've got 20 little ones, will be getting just a 150hps (+CFLs), I'm considering screening
just 1 or two, or four if that would be feasable (30"w/20"d).

This will be my 3rd try...1st time i got 4 boys, 2nd time 8 foot beanpole that i had to chop for security reasons (too much superthrive/CFL stretch) SO

I know trial and error is the best teacher BUT
    any suggestions would be appreciated...

first off you train during veg... second off you veg as long as it takes to fill up about 3/4s of the screen... a 15- will most deffinatly not be enough light to flower 20 plants...but other then that nice setup..

Train the main stem through the screen and then tie it down and if and when it pops back threw you do it again. The bad thing about using seeds is if you get some males you will have to rip them out of the screen, which can be a real pain. In that space I would use 2 at most. Try to get a mother plant that you can get some guarantied females from and that will be your best bet IMO. As far as veg time goes, you should go 6 to 8 weeks in order to fill the screen up. Look up Justaseeds thread "lovely Ladies" it is a very detailed thread on scrogging. If you do it right you can get a nice little harvest, 2 to 4 OZ's if you can get it down, but that is extremely good results.
