They look great so far but yes, I have taken clones in flower and the longer they were in flower for the crappier growth is. I have one that was a low bud maybe 4 weeks in and even though it survived, it has been sitting there over a month doing NOTHING. Not a speck of new green!

Yep, taking clones from flowering plants can be tricky. I took a clone of a girl that was 3 weeks in because the plant was developing so nice, and she turned around and was rooted in about 2 weeks and was at 5 nodes a week later ready to be topped. The length of time they are in flower, and the strain can all play a differense in rooting clones from flowering plants.
Keep up the good work partner.

Floyd,
Your starts look pretty fine. I just joined the forum today and this is the first time I've seen your thread. I would tell you one thing from my 15 years of growing using only starts. You probably only need to mist twice a day for the first week and then drop to once until they are all rooted. I also think that timing of the mist is very important. If you can mist at 12 hour intervals then you should have most if not all clones rootes in 10 days. The over misting can cause them to die like the two you talked about. I can't wait to see how your grow goes. AK47 may be on my list.

Hi TroutBuds. Thanks for the advice will take on board what you have said cheers.
Hi adam 420.
If you leave plants in still water they will drown unless you have an airstone or something to give the roots oxygen.Hope this helps.

Hey Floyed, hope all is well, just making the rounds and checking in. The fellow is right about the misting, but IMO some strains retain water differently and depending on where you live humitity ranges may be diffirent, so see what your plants like, maybe try different misting scheduals with a couple and see how they do. Just a thought.
