our posts crossed... If your plant is recovering from the nute-burn, all is well...go easy on any future fert (if any at all) and make sure and remove any severely burnt and/or yellowing fan leaves. Your plant shouldn't be further affected by the honey thing since it's not adding any additional fert to the soil.
