    soap for face

Sup. just wondering if you guys use soap or bodywash to wash your face? I havent been using soap since like 6 months, just water. The reason is because the soap dries my face and its annoying as hell. But my face feels kind of dirty, and i can see build up of little white dry balls on nose and face. Im going to try a bodywash to wash my face and see if it works out good. Do you guys was your face with soap/bodywash? if yes, which ones do you see good results? I dont really have acne anymore, just red marks left on my face and gets red just at random times. Im thinking soap will help this a little bit. My face sometimes ruins my confidence towards people! i just want a clear face. help!

    THANKS!

use something that's made just for your face. the skin there is different from the rest of your body so that could be why normal soap was drying it out.

i use noxema something or other in a blue and neon green bottle. its citrus something, i can't remember the exact name, but it leaves my face feeling tingly clean. soap and bodywash are not good for your face, unless its some kind of facial soap. like napolitana869 said, the skin there is different than anywhere else, so you can't use regular body soap on your face with the same results as a specialized soap.

Doing this would take myself and my friends out of harms way by knowing the source of our cannabis, as well as take hundreds of thousands of dollars off the black market annually. It would also lower the demand of black market cannabis, and would ultimately help keep cannabis out of the hands of minors.[/SIZE]

My dermatologist has me use something called Purpose soap. It's in a blue box and is very gentle on skin. It's available at the drugstore and is more expensive than bar soap, but it doesn't dry out my skin and I like the way my face feels and looks using that. I'm well into my 40s but still have trouble with breakouts, and so I also use Proactiv solution's wash and toner and lotion to control the oil and breakouts, and I use Retin A (by prescription) as well to help manage the breakouts. I've got oily skin and no wrinkles but will probably be dealing with breakouts till I'm a senior citizen!

Proactiv is good stuff! It really cleared my face up in about three weeks, and I loved it. Then I forgot to use it for a few days, and now I'm trying to get back to that three-week mark.

I like that age-defying scrub that Olay makes. It's gentle and has tiny scrubbies in it.
My little bro loves that proactiv stuff, but it's expensive as all get-out.

I have used soap on my face around 7 times in the past 6 years. I tend to use a wet rag and lots of water in the shower and give a light scrub and squeeze away those tiny spots that appear on my nose.

The 'dry balls' on your face are usually a result of clogged pores.

If your skin dries too quickly and your pores clog easily, I'd recommend using an astringent on your face at least once a week, and using a mild soap daily. I use Dove Exfoliating and it works well. I would try a regular bar of Dove or Oil of Olay first.

Yes, it's a 'girlie' soap...but I also get the girlies complementing me on my skin, so...........
