Howdy Y'all,

A poster at FreeRepublic,said this in response to an article about Iran announcing the successful developement and testing,of a guided,2000 lb pound bomb:

"I do not fear the Iranian military machine. Its order of battle during the Iran/Iraq war in the 80's was to march grade school age youths ahead of their gunmen (I won't honor them as "soldiers") as human shields, resulting in the deaths of thousands of boys. Iran will fight the next war with equal incompetence and immorality.

What I fear is the cost of the inevitable war with Iran. The Democrats and some Republicans believe that we can negotiate peace with Iran, when Iran has made clear that it only wants "pieces", i.e. of Israel, Iraq, Europe, and even the USA. The next time you experience, for example, an attack in the wild by a dozen rabid wolves, try negotiating with them. They know what they want, they know what they're going to get, and they really appreciate the fact that you slowed down so that they could catch you, and that you set your weapons on the ground so that you can negotiate with them. The result will be predictable.

Had I the money, here's the "Daisy" type advertisement I'd run before the next election: I'd show class the pictures from 200 large U.S. high schools, with the calendar in the background. As the calendar spun forward, month after month, I'd mark "X's" over the pictures of more and more young men. I'd state that "this country is at war ... and these young men are dying ... one by one."

Of course, the antiwar crowd would cheer on the message, "Yes!!", hoping the country will finally understand their message. At the END of the commercial, however, we explain that these deaths are in the future. The lives of these young men, now still alive, are being snuffed out by the inaction of the current President, and the feckless, suicidal opposition of the Democrats who oppose any and all means of self-defense.

The message is this: With every month that passes, with every additional bomb (Nuclear or otherwise) Iran builds, and every additional missile, aircraft, tank, and bunker Iran invests in, another young man's life in California, Texas, Arkansas, or perhaps Maine, is mortgaged. The payment will come due regardless of what America does, but it will certainly be higher as we wait, and negotiate, and contemplate, and politicize, and postulate, but do not fight.

War will stop Iran. War will destroy Iran, and the Islamic Jihad she supports. Sooner or later, both the political left and the right in American and Europe will join forces for self-preservation. Predictably, the burden of the fighting and dying will fall on American boys, like my 18 year old son. I'm ex-Navy, and old "cold warrior". I know the way of the world. Fascism dressed up in religious garments is still fascism, and must be defeated for America to survive. And, the war will belong to my son's generation; they will pay the debt we passed on to them with their own blood.

The only question is, how many more boys do we lose because of our "virtue" of delaying the fight?"

People: Notice on Torog's post how he uses the Democratic icon picture and used Arabic writing over it to equate liberals and terror. Democrats have now been seen as the more liberal open party, but in fascist nations, liberals and anything to do with liberalism is seen as a threat and must be quelled.

Wait for the next staged terror attack soon followed by the invasion of Iran. Bush can't really sell a war right now with the war in Iraq and how he lied about it, but if there is a staged nuke attack on a city and then it is blamed on Iran, you can bet your ass that most Amerikans will want a war with Iran. Thats all they need.

But there are always the very small few who really know the truth about what is going on. This is the way it has to be. We'll be eliminated first. After we are gone, it is up to the rest of the people to decide what their future will be.
