If your wife is a huge horror buff, i would imagine not alot would scare her after watching soooooo much horror films, i've watched ALOT and to me the more i watch scary films, the more i become de-sencitised to the blood guts and gore, i watch em more for the shock value, movies like Final Destination are good for that cuz you never really know whats gonna happen, i never found the final destination movies scary but i was amazed at the creativity and unpredictability of the death scenes, thats what movies like that are all about nowadays... shock factor and creativity... not scaryness.

I watched that in the theatres high as fuck, and it was one of the sweetest movies I've seen in a long time

I haven't seen it since though and I'm sure it probably can't live up to how high it's hyped up in my head since a few months ago

i thought the movie pretty much sucked. it doesn't make sense either, how come all the people that were around in the seventies like the cop and the people at the church look the exact same as they do later in present time? it doesn't explain anything

I liked the movie. Then again, I've been playing the games since the day the first one came out.

The problem with the movie is, if you've never picked up a Silent Hill game, you won't know what the crap is going on. The movie was made for the fans, but they failed to inform the general public of this. It should have been a straight to dvd release, but I guess big motion picture companies wouldn't do that to a movie that cost them so much money.
