    Morning Glory and pesticides

My friend and I found some Blue Star Morning Glory seeds in a store and I was wondering: how should I go about removing the pesticides? I've been asking around and apparently just normal dish soap or soap period and water will do the trick, but I'm confirming it here. Thanks in advance.

depends if the pesticide was a systemic or not. systemic pesticides are taken into the plants vascular system and cannot be removed except for abiding by the withholding period, by which time the poison would have broken down, so they say.
if theyre treated with a coating of something for rats and weevils etc
    shit. i dunno.
grow them up and harvest clean seeds is what id do.
otherwise wash em well and use immediateley.
actives in it may be worse for ya than the pesticides lol.
    whos a chemist here?

mate i dont know wether you got a pack of six seeds or enough for you and all yr mates to get off on.
you may have wanted to grow them up to harvest enough seeds, spraying them with pesticides along the way.
so champ do you know how many seeds you need and how to treat them?

100-200 seeds is a common dose...about 3g. you crush them up and put them in a drink.

I tried morning glorys twice and both times I puked my guts up. I used a pepper grinder to grind them up and then soaked them in water for about 2 hours. Then instead of discarding the seeds and keeping the liquid, we just downed both. Pretty stupid of us, eh?

30 minutes later I downed some Pepto Bismol to help control the nausea but it was too late. 5 minutes after taking the Pepto, a fountain of pink coloured puke was heading for the sink. After that, we took the rest of the morning glory and threw em in the garden. I might try it again if I actually spend the time doing a proper extraction and follow the instructions.
