Well as you can guess this is Hank Jr.'s son. He isn't your
average country singer he has toured with Down (Phil from
Panteras side project band) and his style well its going
back to the older country rhythm with a bit of speed,
weed and LSD mixed in.
When I saw him live the last thing I expected to hear
from the guy with the Misfits T-shirt on and covered
in tattoos was country music....LOL
I hate new country but this is something differnt.
As you can see he does not fit the mold of your
average country singer. He is carring on the legacy
of what good country music is supose to be not that
god-damn pop shit you hear on the radio.

He toured with Superjoint Ritual, not Down. His guitar work with SR was pretty good, but I really can't say anything else about his work.

that wasnt an opinion numb nuts it was just wrong.
you said it like down was just phils band and he wrote all the songs which was wrong. they are two different bands, down was recording material as far back as 1990, had an album release between pantera releases that sounded nothing like pantera.
sjr was just dog shit metal but it sounded nothing like pantera. 3 played bass.
damageplan was what i call trying to recreate pantera and failing.
and hank 3 is very good, i will agree here.

You are right we will have to disagree. Damageplan was actually
created by the founding members of pantera Vinny and Dime bag
so the style was theirs to do with as they please as for Damage
plan sounding like pantera I believe both of Phils shitty side projects
(which ruined pantera by the way) sounded a lot more like the style
of Pantera than Damage plan does. And as far as the Down shit coming
out between panteras releases it is because Phil shit on the band that
made him what he was to go do that bull shit Down garbage.

i called you numb nuts because you are stating your opinion like it was fact. had you not been talking out of your ass or if you appeared to have the slightest idea of what you are talking about no name would have been needed, in fact if i had it my way you would have just said it right the first time.so i apologize but the best way to prevent it from happening again is to get a clue first before you start talking you have one. now you see.
and yes calling people numb nuts is immature and ill probably never stop:smokin:
this isnt a contest and yes from here we will agree to disagree but if you think down sounds anything like pantera that means you havent heard one song by down. not one. or you havent heard pantera.
and phil made pantera what it was not the other way around. look at what pantera was before phil, look at it was after phil. look at damageplan have you heard better musicians playing worse music in your life. id say no and if you knew a goddamn thing about music you would see why down is infinitely more original and unique than damageplan.
those side projects didnt ruin pantera. you really have no idea what you are talking about i am through with you

has collected about 10 years worth of dust. You just want to throw
a bitch fit because I disagree with you. I have not once made an insulting
comment towards you but you have to act like a five year old on a play
ground. And if you knew anything about the band you would know
that Phils so called bands held up the release of new pantera albums
and tour dates. Good luck to you in the future with the attitude you have
there or maybe you still a kid and have some growing up to do.
