I use that exact same one, but only for my clones. Not good for the entire grow, but great for clones and the first days of vegetating.

Has anyone ever used these type of lights
i use similar ones the bulbs are the same but mine dont have a an enclosure
i think they work great as they are low heat and energy saving
mine are 125 watts each i use two at the same time one red and one blue spectrum
if you can afford a hps light or higher powered one then get those
but if funds are limited and stuff they work fine
the only thing i will say is that the yeild you get off these lights is less than what you get off hps or high powered lights
i was told expect around a half oz from each plant using the envirolights
with a hps you can get up to 2-3 oz depending on grow conditions
check out my grow in this section its titled cinnamon and mango grow
i would reccomend them if your just starting aswell.
but if your doing quit a few plants you should get a few lights not just the one
try get higher powered ones that are the same they dont cost much more i think mine were £25 each from ebay to. you will find you get a better grow the more power/ light you can provide especially using these lights
hope this is usefull
oh and i think they work fine for both veg and flowerhigh everyone!!

as busteruk7 says, they do look like envirolites and I use them too. They are ok for veg but thas about it. You can do a full grow with them but I don't think you get the lumens off it to produce fantastic flowers. You can get the MH colour ones (65k i think) and HPS colour ones (is it 33k i dunno)

They work 'OK', for the amount they cost too run, and the amount off heat that needs too be dealt with, they are a bargain, but the light penetration is nothing campred too an MH or HPS, you will get good results though.
