yes when its starts boiling u will see the water turn brown like bong water and some pieces of resin from the piece maybe. u can take it out of the boiling water if u want when u are done but dont drop it at all and do not put it back in any water. just let it sit somewhere and air cool.

and clean the pot/pan or it will stain with resin
Th3 Chr0nic Reviewed by Th3 Chr0nic on . pipe nightmare hi. i noticed when smoking out of my glass pipe recently, that it seems really harsh. it almost burns my lips and tongue. ive been trying to figure out what could be wrong. i notice when i turn the bowl over to empty the ashes, sometimes it will leak some kind of brownish liquid. i thought it could be drool causing the problem, so i cleaned out the piece and let it dry out completely. the next time i smoked, i held the pipe at an angle which would be impossible for me to drool down into it.
