Captain Hanks Reviewed by Captain Hanks on . pipe nightmare hi. i noticed when smoking out of my glass pipe recently, that it seems really harsh. it almost burns my lips and tongue. ive been trying to figure out what could be wrong. i notice when i turn the bowl over to empty the ashes, sometimes it will leak some kind of brownish liquid. i thought it could be drool causing the problem, so i cleaned out the piece and let it dry out completely. the next time i smoked, i held the pipe at an angle which would be impossible for me to drool down into it.
