For indoor and outdoor it'll probably be best to get more than one book. The best book for overall knowledge is Marijuana Botany, but it's a fair amount of reading. Then there's various books for indoor, outdoor, organic, stealth growing. Ed Rosenthal has a lot of great books for indoor, outdoor, and stealth growing. Go to Amazon, search Ed Rosenthal for books.

The best book is the one you write inside your head after reading, growing and trying things!!!
The first book I ever read though was "growing Medical MJ" - that's not the best book though (there is no such thing), but it inspired me.

Try growing some and write your own book - then give me a copy!!!

I can suggest a couple to read that will give you plenty of information.
Im along with the others in saying there isn't just one book as a know all, but these fit what you seek best in my opinion. :thumbsup:

Here's another, and it's been all I've needed really.

The Cannabis Grow Bible, by Greg Green

Covers indoor and outdoor growing, soil and various types of hydro, strains, breeding, harvest tips, nice lighting charts, all the info you're likely to need.

I also have one of the books listed above, the Soma one. It's okay, but it's a thin book, and doesn't really have a ton of info.
