Hydroponic system 350 plants??
im never impressed with the vertical grow systems
they do not have the flexibility of moving the lights
plants have to be small sog is the only way but im old fahioned and like my plants oin the level, i have dual layerd tanks {double decker style} and 35 in each meter square!much easier to control
irrigation systems can be a bit troublesome too at times with there drippers blocking etc not alot of room to work in iether
pluss another draw back is that they have to GROW and flower in the same place
means 10 wk minimum crop cycle
1n 5meters square i can have the same area and only three meters on the floor!.. the versitility of having multiple lamps is a good one too .... heat controll is better! and crop rotation is faster
four meters flowering and two meters in grow WILL produce more quicker better!
thanks
bye

Hydroponic system 350 plants??
If you set up your crop like this then you can move your light(s) on a light rail and also fit 80 plants around 2 1k lights and also give each plant 1 square ft of space, but also each plant gets more light penetration than if they were jammed together on the floor because they are at different heights. This setup uses 8 6" wide ,10ft long pvc pipes to grow in that are suspended from the ceiling and positioned so that they basically wrap around the path the light moves on the light rail. 1 oz per sq ft or plant = 5lbs
I'm planning for co2 and hoping for 1.5 oz per plant for 7.5 lbs
check out my very basic drawing. What does every one think ?

Wow......i knew this thread was old when i saw Zandor respond.
its a pretty cool idea silly but you should make your own thread instead of posting on a 2 yr old one, i personally think more people will respond to it then.
