Pot Busts in Nelson, BC

I live in Nelson, BC, in Canada! I use to view this comunity as a very open and free based society especially in regards to Pot usage, and distrubution. I use to love the fact that you could walk down the main street and see and smell a vast majority of people sparking up joints and enjoting it bliss full effects right out in the open. I use to also love the fact that you could get pot so easily! But now the City police has cracked down in a major way on Pot dealers, 2 of my main sources have been busted, and about 12 others have as well its insane and very sad! Over the last little while its been so difficult to score any weed, and all the people that still deal are refusing new customers. Others are hiding there stashes and refusing to sell at all! Its a sad state of affairs..

I honestly believe if this continues the way it is going, Nelson will turn into a Meth head town! I honestly don't think that pot dealers are harming anyone and am still confused why pot is illegal in the first place?? If the goverment was to legalize pot they could cash in on it in a major way! It would boost our economy and it would create jobs!Canabis has many major uses, and could solve a lot of world problems! Instead of waisting millions of dollars busting petty pot dealers! I say worry about the dealers who sell cocaine, crack, Meth, and other lethal drugs! Seriously when was the last time you heard someone dying from a pot overdose?? I don't even think thats possible!

I'm dry as hell and not sure when I will be able to find some decent pot again! Soon the prices will start to sky rockect! I know a friend who is going to sell a whole bunch of shake for 40 dollars a qaurter!!! thats insane for just shake, and the scary part is people will actually buy that right now? The drug War on pot has to stop, its a very useless waste of tax payers money! Well thats my rant if you want more info on the happenings in Nelson click on the link:
