changing conditions
ok im growing in my living room which is roughly 10/14 of natural sun light, i have a plant 2 weeks in to flowering and many that are only 10/15cm tall,, can i put the plants in to a cupboard set up changing them from natural light to fluros and fans or do you think it will cause to much stress on the plant and will not be as effective.....i plant to use 16/8 lights to help speed things up.
also would like to know if the indoor plants will survive a translpant to outdoor growing, ,or will it be like a inside cat once you put it outside it will die within a week... or is it wiser to just leave them try to convince the olds that they are jamacan tomato plants....... i have a week befor my parents come,, maybe i should pretend im not home.......hhhhmmmm
if anybody has done a move befor, please offer advice

[align=center]Plants that are grown by natural light are much different to plants grown with artificial light.
However the process is possible, but risky. Plants maybe as young as 2 weeks old can be moved either indoor/outdoor without too much strain.
First try it with 1 of your plants as a trial to see if the others are worthy enough of moving.
The Plants might stop growing as you move them, but this may only last a week or 2. Although, in some cases, the plants can be stunned for even a month or more. Be xtra careful, but still take chances and develop ur own unique style of cultivating.
Thatâ??s Why Its Easier To Grow Ur Own

Give it a go.
I had taken the risk and don't regret it:thumbsup: . But yours should be less risky as the plant is staying inside. I had brought mine from outside to indoors.
This is what I had to do.
Had 1 single female 3 foot high plant on the back deck just beginning to show her sex after being an outdoors plant since June (started it indoors on natural light). Was expecting company soonand furthermore, was realising that the weather would eventually be getting shittier as fall was approaching. Didn't want to soak the flowers and get mouldy bud with fall rains, so I decided to move it indoors instead of hiding it off the deck amongst other garden foliage.
Company stayed for 4 days and that's the duration of time the plant sat in our walk in closet (but it had a small window though). After company left, put the plant back outside for 4-5 days in its original spot outside as it was a sunny week's forecast, where the flowers really began to show.
As a 2 day forecast of rain was upcoming after that point though, I went with my first instinct and returned it inside for good now.
I've constructed it's own enclosure where I've set up some warm CFLs and supplemental daylight CFLs. It's been 3 days now and I've seen visible progress on the flowers budding nicely so I'm assuming no harm done. THis is also considering I'm reducing/eliminating ferts as I feel that harvest may happen in 3-4 weeks.
I don't know if the seasonal difference in Aussie land would cause stress to your plants if you put them outside, rather than it would here in Canada (fall/winter onset and such), but I'd say it's your opportunity to set up your indoor cupboards and throw away some dishes (j/k).
Keep in mind the aroma that might ensue if they're flowering, and the extra cost/setup of air cleaning above that of lighting for your cupboards grow location.
Lotsa luck!
