Is Neem Oil The Best Solution for this Problem?

Yesterday I found this bug on my plant. I have never seen a bug like this. It was a catapiller style bug. Extreamly small I've seen 2 now and the biggest was at most 1/2cm. I killed them both times I saw them. I have looked on the leaves and I dont really see any more nor do I find them on any other plants. I do however find what I think are eggs or dust I gently rubbed those off with my fingers. I believe this bug eats the tops of the leafs cuz I have only seen them on the top of the leaf. As well I see some spots or what appears to be eating of the tops of the leafs. Here are some pictures.

I sprayed the soil and plants with neem oil yesterday, Is it ok to spray neem oil again in say 4 or 5 days? Or should I spray them again, Is morrning(when the light comes on) the best time to spray plants

And is it the solution to this unknown bug problem? Or is there somthing better

    Any help is greatly appreciated,

    Hello Mr. Special

If they are catipillars/larva of some sort.. you probably dont have much t worry about..

Your plants are looking nice (very healthy)... Do you have a good w3atering regiment.. the leaves look a tad droopy.. either over or under watered..

You should ALSO consider flowering (12/12) NOW... Maybe a transplant first to 3 gallon pots and then 1-2 days later.. FLOWER...

CFLs do not have GOOD penetration and you will want to FLOWER SOON..

Neem oil, yes! Effective against spider mits, fungus gnats and aphids. It is very effective against spider mites!!! I think it is good to spray them two times a week, just not 2 last weeks of flowering, u can“t go wrong with neem oil. By the way plants looks very nice. Have u consider to top them or do some traning, it will give u more tops.
    peace

    Cool,,, thanks guys...

Yeah I still have lots of room to Go, this part of the cabinet is for vegging And I still have about 8 more inches. I need to use smaller pots due to my size restraints. I was thinking of using bags for this cuz I can kinda cram them in the space. Think I can only use 7 Inch pots at the top. Cuz cab is 16 inch deep. About 3 feet wide and I wanna Fit them all for this grow but realize this is not and ideal pot size for just under 2 foot plants. but will try then the next grow use clones and do 2 plants.

And yes I am going to top one plant to learn about how it works. Are they at a height I can top one of em now? I was gonna wait a little longer. Just to be safe.

I will just keep spraying with the oil. Last night I did a more in depth look at the plants and have noticed they are on some other plants. Hopfully they will be dead soon.

    thanks for the Inputs Guys.

yes, you CAN go wrong with neem oil, IF you overdo it, and spray it too often, ... don't meant to scare anyone away from using it, but it can clog the plant's 'pores' and kill it IF over-used ... it isn't a poison, it's an oil that suffocates the bugs ... good stuff, for it's intended use ... :smokin:

Yeah I do over water a little bit But I have two diffrent strains. and The one seed that is Boggle gum it seems to always stand right up. And the rest called blueJay have always kinda dropped over.

I will be using neem oil in a few days. When do you think the best time to spray plants are? whenn light turns off or when it is about to turn on?

    Thanks a bunch guys
