This is kinda dumb, I know. I was gonna name my four sprouts Larry, Curly, Moe, and Shep. But I'm hoping for girls, so I decided Olive Oyl, Betty Boop, Minnie, and Daisy. I got four in three pots. So one of those that's doubling up in one pot is gonna have to be sacrificed for the good of the other. I was hoping to clone later on but don't have a lotta extra space for them, so I was considering going 12/12 until I can tell sex then go back to the 20/4 they have now. Though I'm kind of wary of stressing them like that and might just clone after flower and hope for the best. I still wanna kick that around a little.

dont change the light cycle and then change it back when u see hairs or seeds

too much stress on the babies..

just take your time and cut a clone and flower that.

    no need to rush things

Yup...You have to start the whole cycle from scratch in normal order to ensure a good grow, and cloning has to wait until plant is around a month old, in order to have healthy clones. You cannot rush any part of the early development of a perpetual grow. Because that's what your shooting for; Right?

Wait until plants are old enough to clone. then take 2 or 4 clones from each one. Mark them so you know which is which, About the time that they are rooted and ready to veg...flower your plants! they should be 4-5 weeks old and, once they show their sex...Kill the male plants and clones...wellllaa...Now you have some plants flowering...and some clones vegging...
Use a couple cfl's to veg your clones and you won't need a lot of space...
You can continue this process. minus the sexing part, and take a couple clones from each plant or Start vegging one of your strongest growing clones and perpetually veg it as a MUM...In which case you can take a couple clones whenever.

Yeah, I was leaning towards no switching around times. I read it could be done but I also had never read of anyone actually doing it. I'm pretty wary of stress cause I know that can cause hermies. That's why I'm doing 20/4 instead of 24/0. I figure it might take a little longer but the plants get some down time and it also better matches nature.

Well FYI longerphotoperiods...24/0 20/4 imo create more males.
I veg no longer than 17/7, but usually more like 15/9...after all the longest day of the year is around 15 hours...I have found that do my best to emulate nature is the best policy as far as creating females...and a healthy grow. Now I am not saying you can't use whatever photoperiods you want. I'm just telling you what I have found through my experiment's over time. I came to these conclusion's after much research and advice from growers who knew what they were doing. There is a thread about fem's by the owner of dutchpassion, that I posted a long time ago. I will try to find it, if I have the time. good luck

p.s. Almost forgot...You are right. Some growers let the plant sex, then clone and revert to veg...As stated above, this is a bad idea and unduly stresses the Hell out of the plant, and tremendously increases the chance of hermie's...peace

Cool. I think I'll back 'em off to like 16/8. Also the two plants under the cool whites are both like twice as big as the ones under the soft whites. They're still younguns' but the next time I'm at Wally World I think I'll get a couple more cool whites. They were less $5 each.
