I asked to see the buds he bought, so he chucks me the bag, and he hadn't weighed it yet, so I give it back to him to weigh it. He weighs it, it's all good, but as I'm looking at a few buds, his scale was still there, so I turned it on just to see the weight of some of the buds. I picked up 2 of the almost same size buds, weighed one, it weighed a nice 4.2grams, the other one, a whopping Rating: 5

that's an old trick along with adding seeds to gain weight...spraying water is another scam unsrcupulous dealers will pull on unsuspecting people.

and just an FYI...there are 113.5 grams in a quarter and 454 grams in a lb. don't let the dealer screw you by multiplying 28...it must be done by dividing 454 by 4 for a quarter. it may not sound like much but it adds up...

You know, I never even thought of it that way. That's a 1.5g each loss with each QP, but yeah, it would add up. I'll keep that in mind, Thanks! :thumbsup:

I don't understand why a dealer would do that, sure he would make more money on the first deal, but nobody would ever buy from him twice.

I couldn't tell you man, but this guy bought this QP for $1000, and it was of mid. quality too. That's expensive around here, so who knows.

QP's of mids here run from $400-$500, so if his source bought it for that price, keeps 20g's or so for himself, makes $500 profit, or even sells the other 20g's for another $100 or so.

By the sounds of it, they didn't even know each other that well, so he just got ripped off hardcore, and no more sign of buddy.

Ha ha! Yes, he is. No, that was the only hookup he knew for that price. I can get it for cheaper than that, but he got ripped off, in more than one way.

...so...was he just gonna smoke it or something?...i never heard of $1000 for mids (anywhere) i get decent mids for $400-$450 and i live near the city... if he sold it hed probally lose money...and thats just sad...
