Hash from leaves

i was told to save my leaves especially the trim leaves(b/c they have the most trics on them) and try and make hash out of them...can this b done wit jus leaves? i would like to give it a shot and dont wanna use my buds b/c i am only gonna get bout 1/2 oz or so total of bud, so i jus figured i could try the leaves since they r usually jus thrown in tha trash. ne one know a link for a video on how to do it(wit the leaves) or a link for wit jus the explaination? thnx
