Making weed cookies

First off I'm pretty sure that you usually would have to make cannabutter and then use that to make different foods with THC. However, I was wondering if there is a way I could make weed cookies with the cookie dough you buy at a grocery store by putting the weed in the dough, and then baking it in the oven. Also if I can do this is there anything I should know about (tips)?

yeah i tried it twice. once i was already baked from smoking, and my high just got a lot more intense. then i made one once with some shit bud and it didnt do shit, cuz i wasnt already baked.
