congrats to the cats!
To be honest Budbuster I was knackered after watching it on the T.V (muted, with radio commentary)........ if only the rest of the world could comprehend what this sport actually represents for those who are good enough to play at that level................. commitment, hunger, honour, strenght, fitness, bravery, exhaustion, speed, agility, quick-thinking, nerves of steel, passion, abuse and sweet feck all cash to be made for the joy of being pelted around a rectangular field with an ash stick at the price of being either friend/foe....kissed/smacked...smiled at/spat at in front of eighty-three thousand fanatics ( divided by two , i suppose) ................. honestly and then you have a share of people within this Island and outside that look up to other athletes as GODS after a tip on the shin leaves them rolling ten minutes for dramatics sake and a chance to wonder how to spend THIS weeks 30, 40, maybe 50 thousand smacks............. bloody beggers believe really. ............ and I heard some people say that to play hurling you got to be mad........... I feckin don't think so, sure, tis the feckers watching or paying TV rights to pay for the actor forementioned are the one that ought to be locked up.
Would ye not agree?
sorry about that lads had to clear abit of sh*t out of my room there![]()

i agree 101% Socor noadays is pathatic(sry for my spelling). the true legends are those who play for the fun and the sport not for the 80+ k up for grabs. Me personally i prefare hurling to football but thats just me. i love saturdays at the pitch, whacking a sliotar here and there. my bro on the other hand prefares football to hurling. i can see why broken ribs, spraint ankels, difficulty breathing, Brusied face, damaged shoulderbone every week the same thing.... hes amature but really good.i seriously dont understand how kids like my bro (and theres plenty of them)do it every weekend.and four nights training when i was younger i didnt want to waste my time with it but looking at him im glad hes doing what he does. heplays for the town, the school and some day he hopes to play for his county. honestly i would prefare to spend my weekends watching hurling,,its just more exciting... just a rant![]()
