I'm with Res on this one.

I get through about 6 ounces of baccy a week and a cig is always in my hand (almost as if glued.)

I can't imagine not being able to smoke in a pub it just wouldn't be the same. And although I'll never smoke in non smoking company during meals and never around children I think that if the goverment would be taking the piss by banning it in public.

Now old ladies purfume is another matter altogether, you can be standing 300 yards away from an old dear with 100mph wind's blowing in the other direction and still be chocked towards a clapsed lung with a single whiff of the stuff.

So ban old ladies purfume in public,
not ciggerette's.

A load of beaureacratic politicans, who probably never even go into a pub, club or a bar, are trying to get smoking in public places (especially pubs, clubs and bars) banned! I think this is pathetic, to be totally honest. If people don't liek being in smokey enviroments, then they shouldn't go. The same way people who don't like alcohol shouldn't complain that they sell alcohol in restaurants and try Rating: 5
