Whoops a daisy
I was just checking on my plants and stupidly placed a smaller pot precariously on the side of another then as i turned around i knocked the smaller plant on to the side of the larger one and snapped of two branches, is there anything that can be done with the branches that have broken off, is it possible to clone straight to soil as i have no rooting hormone yet as i hadn't planned on cloning yet i read leaving them in a glass of water will just suffocate.
cheers

If the plants were early flower or before, you might have been able to salvage clones. But that is something that is done right after cutting. It looks like you wrote this a little while ago. So sorry...But..I cut a low branch off my early in flower lady with no intentions of cloning, about 20mn later I stuck her in soil watered her, and left her under the lights. That was 18 days ago and I just put her back into 12/12. So you never know. It didn't cost me anything and I got another lady!!

Thanks for the reply, i placed them in a glass of water for about 10 mins then made the diagonal cut and just stuck them in some soil, i then cut a drinks bottle in half with a few holes in it to keep the humidity up, i have placed them under a grolux fluorescent, will they wilt when they have died the smaller "clone" seems to be raising it's leaves up slightly towards the light and although it has only been around half a day seems ok, the larger one seems to be contorting itself though twisting around but is not that droopy, how long will it be before i know if it has worked.
cheers
