    Hi,

    1) I take it you're experiencing slow plant growth too? could be lack of nutrients, could be low oxygen - are any of your roots a tan/brown colour? Are the leaves perfectly green? How old are the plants?

    2) Theres no reason, especially once the roots have grown into the spreader matt why you should not have the pump on 24 hours a day? Your water should be oxygenated enough, if not check the res temperature.

    3) dont use canna, sorry

    Hydro help needed

Hi guys im just about to grow for the first time and i have a few nagging queries, im gonna use an NFT system in my loftspace, as far as i know i am receiving two plants , not seeds . so i am unsure of the light cycle to put it on when i first get it. i dont want to force flowering as i dont want to stress my babies so i was thinkin 18/6 to start off .

    1. Do i change lighting to 12/12 once the plant starts to flower
    2. i have calculated my nutes , and was wanting to know if i add the flower power and the leaf food at the same time or seperately
    3. i am planning to feed the plants on water 2 weeks before harvest, how will i know when this is?

thanks guys this site is gonna get me out my tits hopefully lol:rasta:
