How does an older guy (50s) buy weed when he has no contacts? It seems like a matter of approaching a stranger on the street. Aside from the obvious risks of being ripped off and/or hurt, who the hell trusts a guy that age? And where would one go even if that was the only solution?

Any suggestions or tips? I could really use some.

Your out of luck man, approaching bums and stonerish looking people on the streets your best bet. You could allways grow your own!:dance:

I'm not actually in Sioux Falls - I'm actually quite a ways from there, but it's the closest city of any size. How sad is that?

You can order seeds online. You get like 10-20 for ~$20-40 bucks, just find a site that's trusted around here, that way you also can choose your strain :thumbsup: They mostly come from Amsterdam, UK, Netherlands area and come in a CD case or something..

As an older guy (40) I can relate. My best advice is to take a class at your local community college. You'll be surprised at how much good shit these kids have access to!

Hey Johnny, know what your talking about. Used to be that the kids had better weed than this ol' man. Couldn't find crap either, after all, being this age we must be the man, right? Check out the grow forums, learn, invest, and just do it! You'll save money, headaches, and you'll have a never ending stash that would make the younger ones drool on themselves.

Actually, I'm on the other side of the classroom, if you know what I mean...lmao. I know who uses but I can't approach them for the obvious reasons. Damn frustrating....

You need to widen your social circle to increase your chances of hooking up with a fellow stoner. Check out your local head shops and try to strike up a friendly conversation with people. You can also try hanging out at a new age book store. A lot of stoners are also into Wicca and Paganism and I've hooked up with some tokers hanging around the reading room in our local shop.
