Well, no answer, so I cooked it for 7.25 hours, strained it out, used half a cup in a pan of brownies (cooking now), and here's a pic of what's leftover: a thousand dollar bottle of cannaoil! Heh.

I figure if it's too weak, I can cook another smaller amount of oil and make it super potent with an ounce of pure bud, then mix it with this to strengthen it. If this is already to strong, then I can just cut this with some normal canola to weaken it. I'm gonna make this work!

If anyone was wondering if doing this smellifies the area: yes, it does, dramatically. Whew, momma, it reeks! I'm not sure if just cooking the brownies will be so bad (but no way for me to tell with this first batch). But I could taste it in the brownie goo when I licked the spoon after mixing the brownies up, so it probably does somewhat. Can't possibly compare to crockpotting the stuff into the oil though!
