Well I also have a grow journal going under indoor growing. It's the link in my signature. I posted this here as I thought it was more of an organics question. I did not double post it however as I didn't put it in my grow log. I probably should have so other people could have seen the questions I had.

Anyways, I would say that while this is my first actual grow, so I'm bound to make mistakes, that I'm more informed than the usual newbie would be. I have read everything I can get my hands on. I have watched videos. I have taken notes and written plans.

I have started...my plants are currently just breaking soil. I've got two up. I'm not planning to use any nutes until they have 4-5 sets of alternating nodes...which I believe is supposed to be around the 3-4 week mark. Right?

I'm using CFL's during veg. I may add an HPS during flower if I have the money by then. I'm working with 3 27watt cool spectrum bulbs and 1 42 watt cool spectrum bulb. I have a couple 42 Watt warm spectrum bulbs and was thinking of adding one to the mix just to even out the spectrum some.

I'm starting them in scotts seedling soil. However, when I transplant them to their permanent pots I will be using Fox Farm Ocean Forest Organic Potting Soil. I plan to mix that 1/2 Fox Farm Soil, 1/4 perlite, 1/4 vermiculite. I will also be adding dolomite lime in the quantity of 1cup per square foot of my mix.

I kind of wish I hadn't started with the Scotts cause it's no organic, but then again, I had not decided to go organic at that time.

Any advice would be more than welcome. And let me know if you think I should add this to my grow journal.
soccergal Reviewed by soccergal on . My proposed Nutes. I've decided to go with the Earthjuice products. I like the idea of organics and I also really like that there is less to worry about in the way of nute burn. Here's what I'm gonna use: Earthjuice Grow = Nitrogen Earthjuice Bloom= Phosphorous Meta - K = Potassium Microblast = other nutrients...(I'm gonna use this as a foilage spray) My question for you guys is, although earthjuice has proposed amounts of what to use and how often, which do you follow. It obviously doesn't have a Rating: 5
