    My proposed Nutes.

I've decided to go with the Earthjuice products. I like the idea of organics and I also really like that there is less to worry about in the way of nute burn. Here's what I'm gonna use:

    Earthjuice Grow = Nitrogen
    Earthjuice Bloom= Phosphorous
    Meta - K = Potassium
Microblast = other nutrients...(I'm gonna use this as a foilage spray)

My question for you guys is, although earthjuice has proposed amounts of what to use and how often, which do you follow. It obviously doesn't have a proposed MARIJUANA amount.

    It gives you the strengths

    • MILD: Small to slow growing medium size plants, apply with each watering or every 2 weeks.
    • NORMAL: Recommended for most plants, including medium to large plants, apply with each watering or every 2 weeks.
    • STRONG: Fast growing and large plants, apply with every other watering or every 4 weeks.
    • EXTRA STRONG: Very large mature plants, trees, and gardens, apply every 4 weeks.
But...after that there are general use options or you can pick the type of plant on the left hand side...which table should I be using? Oh...and I read as much as I could in here before finally giving up and posting.

I would have to ask. Do you know what you are doing, because the answers could be different.
where are you at in your preparation to grow...have you started or what?

Be glad to help. start with mild once they are old enough for nutes...this is when the seedlings have 4-5 good sets of alternating nodes and have rooted in your medium.
I could write a grow guide here...so let me know more about your grow history...what kind of lights...etc. know what I mean vern?

the more you tell us that you don't know...The more we can help you. Peace

    My proposed Nutes.

Well I also have a grow journal going under indoor growing. It's the link in my signature. I posted this here as I thought it was more of an organics question. I did not double post it however as I didn't put it in my grow log. I probably should have so other people could have seen the questions I had.

Anyways, I would say that while this is my first actual grow, so I'm bound to make mistakes, that I'm more informed than the usual newbie would be. I have read everything I can get my hands on. I have watched videos. I have taken notes and written plans.

I have started...my plants are currently just breaking soil. I've got two up. I'm not planning to use any nutes until they have 4-5 sets of alternating nodes...which I believe is supposed to be around the 3-4 week mark. Right?

I'm using CFL's during veg. I may add an HPS during flower if I have the money by then. I'm working with 3 27watt cool spectrum bulbs and 1 42 watt cool spectrum bulb. I have a couple 42 Watt warm spectrum bulbs and was thinking of adding one to the mix just to even out the spectrum some.

I'm starting them in scotts seedling soil. However, when I transplant them to their permanent pots I will be using Fox Farm Ocean Forest Organic Potting Soil. I plan to mix that 1/2 Fox Farm Soil, 1/4 perlite, 1/4 vermiculite. I will also be adding dolomite lime in the quantity of 1cup per square foot of my mix.

I kind of wish I hadn't started with the Scotts cause it's no organic, but then again, I had not decided to go organic at that time.

Any advice would be more than welcome. And let me know if you think I should add this to my grow journal.

SoccerGal.......Im an Earth Juice lover in soil.....

In Foxfarm Ocean Forest soil.....I add at the first transplant 2:1 ratio of worm castings and perlite, 1 tablespoon of blood meal, 2 tablespoons of bone meal, 3 tablespoons greensand plus, and a touch of lime and seaweed meal (a tablespoon of each most times)......

Now the feedings from the beginning go like this ......altho' a lot of people think you can't burn with organic nutes and ferts....you can !!
    ....so I say this.....

I start the first feeding at Mild....using Grow, Bloom, Meta K and Microblast all at the MILD feeding dosage....but use it at 1/2 strength of mild.

I feed every watering so this is my method....it's basically smaller feedings every watering for 2 weeks.

Then I step up to MILD at full strength....2 weeks

.....I then step up to Normal, but the feedings are every other watering then.

I don't know the amount of feeding you make up or mix but I use gallon containers.
I mix the prescribe amount pH it and then pH a second gallon of aged water

....I then mix these equally 1/2 and 1/2 in another empty container. Which makes 2 gallons of pHed food for me......like I said ....it's my method and it works well.

Thanks Rasta!!! Sorry I posted in to places. I just wanted to make sure I got advice from people in organics. And it seems like that was a good idea...because your advice seems exactly what I was looking for!

    My proposed Nutes.

by following the directions on the Earth Juice labels regarding 'container plants', I have had some over-nute burning ... not terrible, but more than I like ... I am a fan of foliar feeding, which pretty much eliminates over-ferting, but with organics, whew !!! ... that Earth Juice 'Grow' applied foliar is nasty-smelling shit ... yup, shit, it figures, eh ?? ... :smokin:
