The Jack Herer makes a crackling noise when you smoke it and has a slight peppery taste.. Its a nice uplifting high. I give it the nod over the NYC Diesel.

Nice photos, the Jack Herer looks more solid than the NYC Diesel. (Is this the case?) Also the crackling noise is most likely due to not having been flushed properly before harvest, and therefore the remaining Nitrogen left in the buds cause the crackling noise, makes it burn badly, taste badly, etc. But hows the taste on those babies. Lovely Photos none the less, what is it like 3-4 ounces there?

Thanks for the comments. I try to take clear pics, but I sort of fucked up the up close shot of NYCD, didn't realize it until I transferred the pics from my camera to computer and didn't feel like re-shooting it.

The Jack is a little denser than the Diesel. I haven't noticed any problems with burning or bad taste. I'm only familiar with the basics of cultivation so I don't really know how to determine if the finished product had been grown improperly. As long as it doesn't taste bad and gets me high, I'll smoke it .
