2 questions about my budding process
Hi again all. I just remembered 2 other things that have been concerning me as of late.
1. I seem to be forgetting my light schedules every so often, like 2-3 times a week. It's never anything big, but I'm on 12/12 lighting hours right now and usually when I forget to turn them on/off I'm off by about an hour. Do you think accidentially having the lights 11/13 every so often is really going to ruin anything?
2. How long should I expect to wait before I see some buds showing up on my plants? and what would the first signs look like? I've been budding for about 4 or 5 days now, but I can't say I notice anything different.
EDIT: oh, I almost forgot, how long should the budding process take before I harvest?
Thanks for all the help you guys have given before btw, always nice to have a good community of helpfull friends:thumbsup::smokin:

Man you should really have a timer, I can't believe that you don't, thats a key item. It won't do damage but it will prolong the process. It should take about 2-3 weeks to see little beginning buds if they showed there pre-flowers before you put them into 12/12. The rest I agree with Justin Incredible

Is there a site that has pictures and descriptions of different breeds?

If you dont no what strain they are to start with it will be near imossible for anyone to no 100% what strain your growing. You would have to look on the internet and try find 1 that looks like yours but you probably wont be 100% sure its that.

2 questions about my budding process
im always missin mine by an hour here or there i have a timer but cos i have some on veg and two on flower i have to move the flowerin ones into a cupboard (only temporary tho)
it hasnt seemed to make any differance to my babies its flowrin nicely
its been on flower for 3 weeks total it already has lil buds (nice)
you should see pistiles form at around 2 weeks then it will grow day by day from then on
natural light at the flowring time of year is never exactly 12 hours it varies between 11-13 hours each day so as long as you dont keep missing it by a few hours it shouldnt matter an hour every now and then
males tend to show after a week or so
full budding should take 7-9 weeks depending on the strainhigh everyone!!

oh yea the males will have lil ball like shapes start to form at the nodes you will see males first
the females have lil white hairs start to form at the nodes you cant miss em
make sure you get rid of the males asap jus make sure they are defo males
if you dont see any males after a week and a half chances are your plants will be all females i cant garuntee that tho its jus likely.
you should be seeing any males start to form balls very soon so watch out for emhigh everyone!!
