I think you guys ARE being way too fucking harsh on the kid. I mean, yeah, he made a mistake, he was scared out of his effing mind. And not every single one of you guys can just sit there and say you've never made a mistake that taught you something.

It doesn't matter if YOU thought it was common sense not to say shit. To him, he seriously believed that things would just get worse if he were to lie. He said he felt they already knew, I believe him. I've been in the same situation before. It taught me a lesson, as he's learned.
