    Pics in signature?

I'm just wondering the reason why we're not allowed to post pics in our sigs. I'm sure there's a valid one, i'm just curious...

    Pics in signature?

about half of forums allow that, and about half dont. its just a choice of the websites moderators. some find, having to wait for too many pictures to load, annoying. maybe the priveledge has been abused in the past? or maybe it is to create a cleaner look. despite the fact that some text sigs are a lot more annoying then when people are trusted to place a picture in their sig.

Owners.. actually.. they perfer to use the bandwidth storing posts and threads rather than have it going towards pictures in signatures..
It is a nice feature.. yes.. but it also can create problems in the sense of annoyance and extra moderation. You can see how long some make their signatures without the use of pictures...it'd increase the literal size of the posts... Also consider the frequency of posts that are done.. allowing pictures to be displayed would put a considerable load on the server.
If a person were to reply say 4 times on the first page of the thread..

    :stoned:

    Cheers and Sorry..
But nobody gets to put pictures in their signature, not even cafe members.
