Us west carolinians have a hard enough time convincing the east carolinians how to BBQ right (they keep using vinigar bases and mops). The only way to eat some 'cue is smoked pork, pulled by hand and cooked with a dry drub and tomator based bbq sauce glaze. Texans I've noticed are all about the smoked beef brisket. And I bet most of you didn't even know the BBQ debate is still going on

Ehh, I'm just giving you a hard time about the cue. TX is one the states I wish to visit one day along with Alaska, and Hawaii.
It really is a state of mind. Even being part of the South, you find things in Texas are a little different from our sister states. When I was growing up in Alabama and Kansas, the two places you wanted to go to were either Dallas or Chicago. After I moved to New Jersey, I swore I'd get back down below the Mason-Dixon and Texas was going to be my final resting place. It's great down here and really does feel like home.

EDIT: When I ask for BBQ, I still expect RIBS...baby back to be exact.
