indica vs. sativa

Just got a shitload of one or the other :stoned:

I drank a few beers at my buddies house and smoked 3 bowls, usually this would be a recipie (sp?) for instant pass-outage, but i was awake until 530 in the goddamn morning. I didn't drink anything else that might have kept me awake, and I usually fall asleep far earlier than 530 am. I think it might be indica that supposedly gives you the more energetic and creative high, but i could be wrong.

correct or confirm my assumptions people :rasta:

Sounds like you got some good sativa. Sativa is more of an energetic head high, where indica is a more of a bodily, lazy and sometimes sleepy high.

You got 'em mixed up. Sativa gives you a energetic feeling. But it sounds like you had speed lol jk.

i allways thought sativa was the couch-lock and the indica was the head high.....im probably wrong thou

personally i prefer sativa or a sativa/indica mix. Last time i smoked an indica dominant strain I couldn't get off my bed for atleast 15 minutes.

Sativas should give the smoker a cerebral high.The more potent the sativa, the more head high one gets. Sometimes to the point of light tripping. If you are fortunate enough to get your hands on one of the top of the line hazes, you will know what I mean. It sounds as though you got a hold of a very potent haze or something like C99, Apollo 11, Jack Herrer, Kali Mist, Skunk #1; etc. A good indica will glue you to the couch with it's powerful body stone. A potent one will just reach inside your chest and grab you! A good mix with give you both body and cerbral highs, just not too much of one or the other. Hope this helps clear things up for you! I've experimented with different variations of each, but I found that making brownies with sativa will actually give you a combo of both- I was glued to the couch, but had GREAT closed eye visuals... I was grabbing on the carpet to keep from falling to the ceiling :P

around these parts we usually get a lot of Sativa strains, but once in awhile we'll get some sort of Indica. My head is so used to getting buzzed whenever I have Indica it doesn't even seem like I'm that high cause it wakes me up like caffiene. but I love the Sativa so much!!
