If that agency calls you back, find out who they're with, and why and for what they need the $430 for. If the guy won't give you straight answers, ask to speak to his supervisor. They should be able to tell you more than 'sorry, pay us $430 now.' Something just doesn't sound right with that. Good luck! :thumbsup:

It sounded really absurd to me as well, until I found out what the problem was this morning. The court didn't let them know I took care of it and confusion was feeding the problem!

Jamstigator, I send my condolences to you my friend. Life can be so unpredictable sometimes.. It certainly never is a bad thing living with extra caution.

Anyways, I got a ticket.. went to driving school to get the price to go down a little bit on it ($300 something down to $143) as well as clearing up my records ya know. I then sent a check to court along with my driving school certificate and it was already a pain to do that. Now a few days later I get a call from this collection agency saying that I owe Rating: 5
