I've grown some plants that do give off a nice juicy smell as they are growing. I mean, you can still smell that it's weed, but there's a sweet overtone.
Unfortuantely I can't answer the rest of your question because that particular group of plants was from some seeds I produced crossing a couple beautiful plants that I grew from dank-ass bagseed... so yeah, the smell can be real nice in flower, but as for strains, you'll have to read up on the seedbank sites because they DO tell you if they have a nice smell when they're in bloom on some of them.
stinkyattic Reviewed by stinkyattic on . The fruit-named strains and odor So I once started to grow a citrusy strain that really smelled like oranges, but never continued the grow. So I'd like to know if the strains with fruit names will cintinue to keep nice fruit smells as they flower, or will they get stinky? And if they keep the fruit smell, which fruit-smelling strain is the best for indoor? Rating: 5
