Cannabis, like just about any other vegetation, when put in freezer, does slow down decompostion. Make sure that you keep an eye out for any molds, freezer burn, etc. I usually take my mason jars filled with cannabis out of the freezer, open the lid for about 5 minutes, inspect, and then right back into the icebox she goes. If you are only dealing with minimum size bag of weed, the refrige will do just fine, but take pot out of baggie and put in air-tight jar.
Plastic baggies when rubbed created a magnetic field that pulls dry trichomes off weed. NEVER put wet weed in freezer. NEVER put wet weed in any airtight container.
