I think that is a silly idea.
Refrigerators have a heat exchange on them.
Plus they have a pump.
Your net heat gain/loss would actually be a heat GAIN.
Plus they are not designed to be efficient for that application.
Why don't you just spring for an a/c unit?
Use the microfridge for a clone chamber. Just unplug it first.
stinkyattic Reviewed by stinkyattic on . mini fridge for cool air I have a mini fridge lying around and was wondering if my grow room is in a place where it might get relatively hot could I hook up a thermostat in the "greenhouse" and a computer fan with a pipe leading from the refridgerator so when the temps rise to over say 78 the comp fan will switch on and send cool air into the room?
