Ok.. I don't like cats normaly but like those that are chill and awesome and will just come and lay next/on you are awesome, but i've never had a cat like that.

Oh and people who are saying that dogs are high maitenence: I've had 2 dogs for my whole life, maxwell and woogie, woogie is my baby (a german shorthair/coondog mix, kind of like a mut, but he has such a personality, and he's so cute I want to scream at em) and max (a wise old profit who usually stinks.. but I love him no matter what, hes almost as old as me and always cheerfull, hes a pure black lab). But back on to the subject, my dogs go outside during the day, they come in at night, all we have to do to take care of em is feed and water them (same as cats). They can shit by themselves. And then they come back in at night and sleep, and come lay in bed with us (my parents and occasionally me). I love my woobie moomers (woogie).

But I can see how stoners love cats because if you get one that has the same personality as you (lays around just wants to sit down and have a good time) as I said above ^. But if you get and old dog, they'll come and just curl up next to you and chill.. and they're awesome pillows and warm blankets.. lol my dogs = like about 45% of everything I love (including my whole family). I honestly think that the day I lose woogie, I'll die mentally.

I don't want a cat as a pet anymore
Here's why...



years and years ago when i was 4 or 5 i had a cat named Shadow, and he was my best friend. We would play around and he would sleep in bed with me every night. Well one day we heard a really loud screech so we went outside. Low and behold someone hit Shadow and the tires cut off his head.

I was obviously mentally scarred, but i recovered a few years later. So one day i found a stray cat following me home, so I asked my mom if i could keep him. She said yes. I was happy again. (this was me -> ^_^) Well one day i came home from school and opened the door, but forgot to close it behind me because of excitement. And Zero(my new key-key) ran outside.
And got ran over, To this day i feel guilty for both of their deaths so i never have gotten another cat since.

I have the awesomest dog ever she is always doin stupid stuff to make me laugh, but i would have to say that the farretts are the funnest things when im high.. hahahahha watchin them run acrossed the house bust me up everytime .

I can see where that trend toward road-kill kitties might put you off future felines as pets. My condolences.

I have cats and dogs. They're all fairly laid back and cool and any one of them would make a good stoner pet, depending on the strain someone was smoking. A nice relaxing body-stone Indica would fit perfectly with Buddy the Lilac point Siamese's laid-back feline style. Whereas a pleasantly entertaining Sativa might mix nicely with the crazy antics of Lily, my small black Chihuahua.

Too bad neither option is available to me at the moment. Nothing goes particularly well with medical school except possibly just sleep.

well guess i dont hate them but i wouldnt want 1 as a pet...they dont do anything special...except licking their assholes 8 hours a day and then puking it back up on the floor so u have to clean it up...i guess thats semi special

better than a fucking dog that licks his ass and his balls and humps everything in sight

and at least cats dont eat their own shit,, cats are 100% cleaner than dogs also

but i love my doggies i dont think i would ever want a diffrent animal as a pet. in my experience dogs are more playful then cats. well at least the 2 cats that i had back in the day.

I have a cat.

I like cats because they are indpendant animals. All you have to do is feed them, and change their litter box, they take care of the rest. They are fun to play with and pick on, and at other times, they are calm and come and sit on your lap to keep you warm. They are playful animals, but they are also loving animals that are nice to pet.

Dogs, I have to walk them, take them to the bathroom, play with them, etc. Cats, can play by themselves or with you. Dogs need constant attention. I work all day and I'm tired when I come home at night. If I want kids, then I'll have kids, but I'm not going to have a dog that controls my life with his walking and play time.

That's just me though.

EXACTLY cats are so chill, give them food, water and a place to shit and there good to go, but i love my dog, even if he needs constant attention...
