Made a vaporizer out of a lightbulb

Ive never used a vaporizor before, first of all, how is that better than making a bong at home with a bottle, pen, bowl.. does it filter some bad stuff out, how, will the glass break after too much heating? thanks

If you get a 100w bulb it wont crack and you are not susposed to put the flame directly on the bulb.
