"Just found some small, ant sized bugs in my hydro set up. Plants are in day 35 of flowering, starting to get some frosty looks to the leaves and buds. :e These bugs are black, about the size of ants but very quick moving little bastards. I only saw 2 (probably 10 million hiding elsewhere) but what are they and what is the best thing to do about them? I see no damage to the plants themselves (yet!) and would take a pic but they are way too fast. Help!"

If your running a hydro setup it is possible that you have gnats; however, without a further discription of your problem it's hard to asertaine. Here is how you eliminate them.

Organic Solution:

Get three bulbs of garlic, mince them in a processor and then boil the minced garlic until the water becomes slightly green, then strain out the garlic particulates. Dowse your crop thouroughly for two days, wait a week then reapply, that should handle any type of problem organically.

If you are still having issues, I recomend using a product called SM-90 to get rid of bugs, the directions are simple to follow and can be found at any lawn/garden store.

REMEMBER TO ADD IT TO YOUR RESIVIOR AND MAKE A FOLIAR APPLICATION ALSO.

If that fails to cure the problem, get some Zap it (yellow cardboard things that kill all insects)

good luck.
