    Nute suggestions?

My beans were just started in germination yesterday. I went to Lowes, Home Depot, and Walmart for some stuff and also looked at the fertilizers. But it all just baffled me. I read somewhere a 5-1-1 ratio is good for veg. The only thing I found with that is that alaskan fish fertilizer. But I also reead that stuff's not really fertilizer but a supplement and doesn't contain all you need. I've also read how a molasses solution is good during flowering. Can anyone suggest a good fertilizer for veg? And does anyone use that molasses thing? I'm growing in potting soil by the way.

Here's some sample ratios from commercial grow nutes:
    FoxFarms grow big, 12-7-7 +micro
    Dyna-Grow 7-9-5 +micro
You need the micronutrients, and you still need a bit more K and P for growth too.
You want the high N, but 5-1-1 is not exactly what you need.

That's correct. Read labels on complete ferts and choose one that has similar ratios to those above.. just not MG...

I like Botanicare Power Plant, and FoxFarms Grow Big. But you've got to get those at specialty shops.

Cool beans, make sure you add some perlite to it for lightness.
