Sorry, I don't know how to use a torrent or even what the hell it is. Have you tried Limewire? It works really well for me.

Lose kazaa!!!! It fucked up my comp and comes complete with bundles of spyware and nasty shit.
If you're after d/ling single tracks i'd recommend Limewire, you can d/l from www.download.com
As for the torrents yeah there not very user friendly but after a fiddle about you can see whats goin on. I use Bitcomet, you can use loads of different search engines and d/l whole albums as apposed to singles.
Happy d/ling!
Peace
Buddy

Kazaa sucks. Limewire sucks.
Get Azureus - It's a Java-based Torrent client.
After you've downloaded the torrent client, you can go onto a website like www.torrentspy.com andthen you download the torrent. Then you open up Azureus to "extract" (for lack of a better word) the torrent.

dont use torrents for songs, its a PITA, USE LIMEWIRE FOR SONGS
For movies, download utorrent(generally accepted as the best/one of the best torrent programs)and you http://www.piratebay.org and http://www.torrentspy.com
My limewire strategy is, download like 5 seperate version of the song(read, from different people) whatever starts off the fastest keep and cancle the others(this is what I do in a rush)
Torrents really do suck for songs, unless you want an entire album.

Torrents are good for albums, movies, and software. Good music is meant to be listened to by the album anyway, IMO
Go to isohunt.com, mininova.org, and torrentreactor.net for the best selection
